Aug 16, 2017 · 35mm f/1.8 and 28mm f/2 requires a full correction +100 in lightroom and sometimes a slight crop of about 2%. Mind you that these are my findings shooting white surfaces and clear skies. In real world usage this vignetting is really a non-issue. At the medium tele end of the spectrum I have tested the 85mm f/1.7, the 100mm f/2.5 and 100mm f/3.5. -

This lens is a good value slightly long standard lens. If you think 50mm is too tight, but 35mm too wide, there aren't a whole lot of lens choices in this range. This lens could be better at f/1.8, but isn't bad. It really is nice across most of the frame at f/2.8, and the entire frame by f/5.6. -

Mar 06, 2008 · Since 1.8 is unusable in my opinion I don't consider this an issue with this lens. What I don't know is to what extent the poor performance at f1.8 is the result of the particular adapter used. When I have an opportunity I plan to try this lens with the Minolta 2X adapter and see whether I get better results with that combination.
